Orange Cake

Orange Cake

Sunday's are perfect for chilling and baking for family or friends or just for yourself 😍
This Sunday, I wasn't working... so I decided to bake a cake. And since we are still in winter, I went for an orange cake. It's a delicious cake to enjoy with relatives.
Here is the recipe I usually use:



Ingredients:


  1. 3 eggs
  2. 100 gr sugar
  3. 200 gr all-purpose flour
  4. 3 tbs olive oil
  5. 3 oranges
  6. 150 gr Mascarpone
  7. Vanilla
  8. Baking powder





Preparation:

1- In a bowl mix 3 eggs, sugar and olive oil until you have a homogeneous mixture.
2- Then add some orange pulp, orange juice, and a little orange zest. Mix again.
3- Finally you add baking powder and while slowly mixing, add flour.
4- Pour the mixture in a pane and put it in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
5- Once the cake is baked let it cool down and meanwhile start preparing the cream with which you'll cover the top.
6- In another bowl add 150 gr Mascarpone, vanilla, and 30 ml orange juice mix well.
7- Take the cake and cover it with the prepared cream and decorate with orange slices and zest.
